Pierce County Environmental Services is housed in a dramatic and environmentally responsive 50,000 sq.ft. two-story Services Building, designed by the Miller Hull Partnership of Seattle. Scott Wolf, Partner at Miller Hull said that, "they were inspired to 'push the envelope' looking for the ideal humane work environment, with direct visual connections to the outdoors, abundant daylight, well-controlled sunlight and fresh air. This cutting edge sustainable design began at the very first meeting with the client, as a part of the programming and site planning processes." |
