The gymnasium of the Yesler Community Center by Mithun underwent serious roofing analysis while spending some time in the lab. It went from a flat roof with punched holes for skylights, to a sawtooth roof variation with combinations of skylights and clerestories. The progression and the design process is apparent in the following series of tests.
